Tags #9: The Harry Potter Tag

So I’ve gushed about Harry Potter enough, both on here and on Tumblr, Twitter ànd Instagram that it really should come as no surprise to anybody ever that I’m doing this tag. If anything, you might be surprised that it took me this long to get to it. Well, that’s basically just because I didn’t know it was even a thing before now, so you know… Here’s the Harry Potter Tag!

Favourite book?

Probably the first one, because that was the one that really got me into it. I mean, I actually think I might have read the second one first (In my memories, I got The Chamber of Secrets for Sinterklaas one year, and loved it so much that I promptly got the first one as well) However, we had the first one in the audio version, and we used to listen to it on Christmas Eve, so for me The Philosopher’s Stone is probably most directly linked to all the amazingness that is Harry Potter.

Favourite movie?

Either the first or the fourth – they have the best soundtracks. Well, that’s to say, that moment where Hermione’s conscious again and Hagrid’s back in the second movie? Genius
Other than that, I’m all about that first and fourth movie, though.

Least favourite book?

Probably the second or the sixth one. Funnily enough, apart from that moment I mentioned above, the second is also my least favourite movie… I really don’t know why, though, because it’s brilliantly composed. I guess it just spoke to me less?

Parts of the books / movies that made you cry?

Fred.
Lupin and Tonks.
The first time Harry realises that what the Dementors make him hear, are his parents’ last moments.
And happy tears just about any time the movie or book ended well.
Yes, I’m that person 

If you could hook up with any HP character, who would it be?

Neville Longbottom.

Favourite character?

Luna Lovegood and Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley – I friend-ship them so hard it’s not even funny any more.

What would your Patronus be?

According to Pottermore, it’s a lioness. You can make of that what you will 

If you could have the Resurrection Stone, Invisibility Cloak or the Elder Wand, which one would you choose?

I don’t know that I would want any of them. I mean, the Resurrection Stone just doesn’t lead to healthy behaviour in any way or form, the Elder Wand tends to not actually be such a good

What House would you be in?

Again, according to Pottermore, I could be in all of the houses except for Slytherin. Which is kind of funny, because the bf could, apparently, only be in Slytherin. Most likely, I’d be a Ravenclaw, though, with a lot of Hufflepuff mixed in…

If you could meet any member of the cast, who would it be?

Daniel Radcliffe, because he’s awesome.
Emma Watson because she’s, well, Emma Watson.
Ruper Grint, because, well – the guy bought a freakin ice cream truck.
The person I want to meet most, though? J.K. Rowling. Just to start crying and thank her for my childhood.

Have you played any of the video games?

Yup, but I was never any good at them. My sisters were though, and I also still remember – very vividly – the way the Harry Potter-character screamed Flippendo. I got so sick of that spell 😀

If you were on the Quidditch team, which position would you play?

Eeeehm… Commentator?
Trust me, with my lack of hand-eye coordination, no team should be cursed by having me as a part of it!

Were you happy with the ending?

With the ending as such? Yes
With the fact that there was an ending? NO.
(Hence my love for fanfiction, obviously  )

How much does Harry Potter mean to you?

Probably a bit too much!

And there you have it, that’s my replies to the Harry Potter Tag! How much do you love Harry Potter, actually? And have you already done this tag? If not, feel free to now consider yourself tagged! And be sure to let me know below what your replies were!
