Booktags #9: ‘t Is the Season Booktag

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that we’ve reached the last straight line to Christmas, and this is the first book tag I’m writing? I mean, with how I was doing this fall, I thought for sure I was going to end up writing at least 5 of these. In the end though, I basically just loved the questions of this one too much. So I simply couldn’t help but do this one, the ‘t is the season booktag, which I first came across on Fandoms On the Run.

1. Do you have a favourite winter read?

Anything Astrid Lindgren, basically. I already mentioned this in my post on Christmas books for children, but she just has the best stories about the winter and Christmas. I’m constantly finding myself dreaming away to her writing!

2. Find a book with blue on the cover

And the writing is even more gorgeous than the cover!

3. Find a book you’d use as the star on a Christmas tree

I honestly can’t give a reply to this one… If only because that would mean I wouldn’t be able to read that particular book for the entire period of the holidays and that just won’t do!

4. Pick one fictional place that would be perfect for a winter vacation

Narnia, naturally. I mean, just think of the amount of snow!

5. Pick one fictional character you’d take with you on your winter vacation

Luna Lovegood. Without a doubt. She’s amazing and I’d be sure to discover places and things I’d never have thought of discovering!

6. Name one book on your wish list this year

Let me just direct you to every single one of my bookposts. Also: Narnia and Harry Potter, the box sets in English please thank you very much!

7. Favourite holiday drink, treat & movie?

  • Hot cocoa
  • Brownie
  • Movie
    • For the whole family: Eloise at Christmas Time
    • Romantic movies: The Holiday
    • Classics: White Christmas

Now why would you make me choose like that??

What would your replies have been? Be sure to let me know below, and do go and have a look at the rest of this year’s Christmas posts!
